My name is Don Marges and I am the owner of Happy Face Studios. I started Happy Face Studios in my last year of
college as a way of doing something I love while making some money. I didn’t make a lot of money and as a result,
I had to get a full time job as well as go through even more school.

My educational background includes a diploma as a Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst as well as Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management.

I have held a number of jobs as a Software Developer or IT Manager and I have also worked as a freelance web
designer and programmer.

I am writing this blog to not only keep you informed and up to date as to what I am doing within Happy Face Studios,
but to also chronicle the beginning of a new games company. To show people the path that I took from making almost no money in my bedroom to achieving financial independence doing something I love full time.

It’s a journey that I think is worth sharing and it also shows that Happy Face Studios isn’t a faceless, politically correct corporation, but a personal and fun endeavour.

My future posts will be more informative and I will also add my sense of humor into them as well. I wanted to take this post and use it to get off on the right foot with anyone who comes across it.
